They created, kept and maintained paper documents on manufacturing procedures, importations of raw materials and exports of their products. They also used excel documents to manage sales report and track customer data.
While this system worked for them, the volume of paper and file cabinets grew larger making it hard to find specific records on demand.
Their existing traditional paper based record keeping system also meant that they would have to compile sales and performance reports manually and then communicate to stake holders of the company via emails, not to talk of the increase in margin of error while preparing those reports manually.
We built an integrated production chain management system for Bridge Impex, which allowed them to handle their production process electronically via the internet including raw material requisition, warehousing of finished goods, reporting damaged goods, modifying existing inventory, etc. With the system, they were able to search for records digitally, prepare sales reports with a few button clicks, get notified on production status, digitally keep track of customers, handle waybills for imports and exports digitally and more.
Workflow efficiency increased by 60%, while reducing expenditure by 40% annually.

The University made provisions for new applicants into the Medical School. This was mainly done manually. Prospective students have the option of buying application forms from the premises or downloading a copy online. Submissions of forms have to be done manually as well by visiting the campus or by post mail.
The entire process took some time ranging from days to weeks. If there are any mistakes after submission, it took extra time to complete the process because corrections have to be done by visiting the school premises.
We built an online application portal and connected it to their website. Applicants now, regardless of their geolocation can fully complete and submit their forms using the internet, while having notifications on the status of the application in real-time. The Medical school also then had the opportunity to collect application fees online, download attachments and allow applicants to make corrections on the application in real-time.
All this was achieved using a single system that allowed applicants access and staff of the medical school to securely interact with regards to their application and requirements to enrolling into the Medical School.

In the quest of Petroleum Commission, Ghana to be a world class regulator promoting Ghana as an upstream petroleum hub, there is a high need for the Commission to adapt to a digitized and robust regulatory computing system to ensure industry compliance and a real time data repository from its players.
Currently, business processes which include contract awarding, local content planning, reviews, financial analysis, permit issuance, etc. are heavily conducted manually and somewhat electronically.
Paper based work, email and excel documents are the most electronic forms of business activity within the organization, meaning the it suffers all available disadvantages of a manual workflow, including increase in margin of error, delayed submissions, late payments, miscalculations, loss of information, etc.
Their existing paper based record keeping and semi-online system also meant that they would have to prepare reports and other forms of documentation manually.
We proposed an integrated system to the Commission, that encourages online activity of submissions, payments and reporting, thereby reducing human error within the processing stage. The system would automate various levels of administration including registering new companies under petroleum activities, receiving payments online, automatic payment reminders, report handlers, one-click permit issuance and revokes, data collation, contracts processing and more.
The system has been designed to automate the entire reporting stages of the contract awarding process i.e. Prequalification, Request for Proposal, and Contract Award. The system will be in synchrony with the various laws, regulations, administrative processes and timely direction of the Commission. This would help the Commission make faster decisions, while having accurately processed information at their finger tips; increasing collaboration between petroleum partners and companies, while reducing the total time it takes for the same amount of work to be completed.
